About Planetarium Go

Planetarium Go is an immersive 360-degree experience that first launched in London as a pop-up event at Battersea Power Station, in the riverside neighbourhood of Battersea, in early 2026. Now running in Stratford in east London, it explores the wonders of the universe inside a large spherical dome, where astronomy and science film projections take visitors on an unforgettable immersive journey through space.

Behind these immersive experiences is Planetarium Go UK, a company dedicated to operating portable planetariums across various cities in the UK. Its mission is to bring this tool – placed at the service of scientific knowledge – to areas that lack this type of infrastructure, inspiring new generations of children to awaken their interest in science.

The company believes that scientific outreach can also be a form of entertainment – engaging, tailored to today’s communication codes, and capable of involving and capturing the interest of its audience.

The challenge

After deciding to open a company in the UK, the presence of London & Partners was key to the company's decision to choose London over other cities that were on its radar.

Arriving in the UK from Spain, Planetarium Go UK needed support to understand the opportunities a city like London could offer. Its first challenge was about landing smoothly in the city and understanding its economic and business environment.

Moving to another city is a complex and difficult process if you don’t have someone to guide you along the way. We found that support in London & Partners.

How we helped

London & Partners provided contacts in various areas of expertise, from event venues to banks and offices, that were extremely helpful when it came to establishing the company in the country and the city.

It supplied contacts across many districts, including the strategic contact at Battersea Power Station, where Planetarium Go UK ultimately launched its first portable planetarium.

London & Partners also provided invaluable guidance and support. Moving to another city is a complex and difficult process if you don’t have someone to guide you along the way. Planetarium Go UK found that support in London & Partners.

The outcome

As a result, the company is now established in London, with six employees on staff and another 10 people employed indirectly in assembly and administrative tasks.

Planetarium Go UK has big expansion plans and believes that London & Partners will be a key strategic partner as it enters its growth phase. Members of London & Partners have already been supporting the company in securing contacts with new districts to finalise future locations.

Conclusion

The opportunities offered by a city like London are well known to everyone, but without the support and guidance of an institution like London & Partners, it is very difficult to take advantage of them, according to Planetarium Go UK's CEO. The service provided has been decisive and will continue to be so in the future.
