How to get to Greenwich

Greenwich is one of London’s most scenic and historic areas, offering a mix of world-famous landmarks, vibrant cultural attractions and excellent transport links for leisure, business travellers and event planners. It’s accessible from all parts of London by bus, rail, DLR, Tube, boat and cable car.

By Tube and DLR


Greenwich is well served by the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), offering quick connections from central London. Travel via Bank or Stratford to Cutty Sark, Greenwich or Deptford Bridge stations for easy access to the area.

By rail


Regular National Rail services from London Bridge, Cannon Street and Charing Cross connect directly to Greenwich, Maze Hill and Westcombe Park stations.

By bus


Several London bus routes, including the 188, 199 and 129, connect Greenwich with key locations such as Waterloo, North Greenwich and Lewisham.

By boat


Take the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, reaching Greenwich Pier from central London in as little as 20 minutes.

By cable car


For amazing views, travel via the IFS Cloud Cable Car, linking North Greenwich to the Royal Docks in just a few minutes.

Train and Underground stations


Greenwich is well served by the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), offering quick connections to Canary Wharf and the City. The nearest DLR stations include Greenwich, Cutty Sark, Maze Hill and Deptford Bridge, connecting visitors to London’s key transport hubs.

For National Rail services, Greenwich Station and Maze Hill Station provide direct links to London Bridge, Cannon Street and beyond.

River travel is another way of getting around, with Uber Boat by Thames Clippers offering a scenic route to central London.
