Shoreditch has a range of interesting venues for hire that can cater to everything from a classic conference or convention to an event with a bit of a difference.
The Museum of the Home
The Museum of the Home is located inside 300-year-old almshouses and showcases the history of domestic life across different eras. It is a large capacity venue with dining space for 400 and up to 1,000 standing and provides a unique space for conferences, networking or business socials.
Shoreditch Studios
Located within two interlinked railway arches, with exposed brickwork and industrial lighting, Shoreditch Studios provides a blank but cool canvas for events just a few minutes away from Overground and Underground stations.
Young V&A
One of the newest branches of the renown Victoria & Albert museum, Young V&A is focused on being a space where young people and families can enjoy learning about design and art. It can host events for up to 600 guests.
Whitechapel Gallery
Since 1901, Whitechapel Gallery has been an institution for arts in one of London’s most creative and innovative districts. Its spaces for hire range from exposed brick galleries to a purpose-built auditorium for up to 200.

On Sundays, head to Columbia Road for the weekly flower market. Even if you don’t buy anything, you can soak up the sights and sounds as market traders hawk their colourful bouquets to passing punters.

If you’re looking to entertain a group for the afternoon or evening, Shoreditch is home to every kind of activity bar imaginable, including ping pong (Bounce on Old Street), mini golf (Shoreditch Balls or Junkyard), video games (NQ64) and shuffleboard (Shuffle Club) to name just a few.
Rich Mix
This not-for-profit community arts hub is buzzing with live music, film screenings and art shows. This trendy venue offers a three-screen cinema, live music stage, theatre and a creative hub for events of up to 350.

Shoreditch’s incredible culinary scene is a testament to the diverse communities that call east London home.
Eataly
An Italian restaurant, market and cooking school all in one location next to Liverpool Street station. Its several spaces can be hired for events of up to 200, and the cookery school La Scuola can be booked for groups of up to 16.
The Clove Club
This two Michelin-starred restaurant in Shoreditch Town Hall specialises in showing off the true potential of the finest British ingredients. Expect to be served a multi-course menu of familiar favourites with an innovative twist from its open kitchen.
Beigel Bake
This 24-seven bagel shop has been serving freshly baked bagels stuffed with delicious fillings on Brick Lane since the 1970s. It continues to draw a big queue, and you’ll see why when you reach the front and take your first bite.
Curry on Brick Lane
For a curry, Brick Lane is the only place to go. There are dozens of curry houses on this stretch of road, specialising in Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani cuisine. Aladin/Nazrul, Sheba, and Graam Bangla are popular choices.

How to get to Shoreditch
Shoreditch is easy to get to whether you’re flying into London or travelling from within the UK.
By Tube
You can take the Central, Circle, District, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, or Northern line to Liverpool Street station.
By rail
Overground trains and national rail services come into London Liverpool Street. You can also get the train direct from both Heathrow and Stansted international airports.
By bus
Many bus routes run through Shoreditch from across London.
