About

Explore the Courtauld Gallery’s collection of paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures, set in the elegant 18th Century setting of Somerset House.

Most famous for Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces, the gallery is also home to works from the Renaissance through to the present day.

Look out for famous pieces such as Vincent Van Gogh’s Self-Portrait with Bandaged Ear and Edouard Manet’s A Bar at the Folies-Bergere. You can also see the most significant collection of works by Cézanne in the LVMH Great Room.

Works by Peter Paul Rubens and Botticelli’s The Trinity with Saints can be found in the stunning setting of the second floor Blavatnik Fine Rooms.

The Courtauld’s newest gallery is on the first floor and showcases paintings and decorative arts from the Medieval and Early Renaissance Periods, along with works by important Bloomsbury Group artists including Vanessa Bell.
