What is Frameless?

Surround yourself with much-loved masterpieces at this multidimensional venue, which uses motion sensors and virtual technology to bring works to life as you navigate the rooms.

Imagine yourself not only becoming immersed within the picture, but also playing a central part in creating the masterpiece. Every brushstroke and splash of colour comes alive as you step into the room and move across the floor.

The experience is enhanced with music tailored to, and composed for, each painting .

What galleries and artworks can I see?

Step into the surrealist world of Salvador Dalí and other remarkable artists, from Gustav Klimt to Edvard Munch, in the Travel Beyond Reality gallery.

Or use your own movements to explore Colour in Motion – spin around the room to help recreate some of the world’s most famous paintings, including Monet’s waterlily ponds and Van Gogh’s midnight skies.

Immerse yourself in landscapes you've never seen before with The World Around Us. Be swept away by wild oceans, explore a fiery volcanic eruption and stroll around bustling cities. Place yourself at the centre of the action with masterpieces from legendary artists such as Rembrandt, Rubens, Cézanne and Canaletto.

End your journey with The Art of Abstraction, where colours and geometric shapes meet and jump across screens in this final gallery. Enter a world where pioneer artists such as Mondrian, Kandinsky and Klimt have created ground-breaking art of many shapes and colours, which move in synchronisation with jazz tunes.

How long does the visit last?

There’s no restriction on the amount of time you can spend in each gallery, but you can expect your visit to last around 90 minutes.

After your visit, pick up artsy items from the shop, or find drinks and snacks at the Café Bar and treat yourself to an afternoon tea with an art-inspired twist.

Where is it and how do I get there?

Frameless is few steps away from Marble Arch and Oxford Street, on the corner of Edgware Road and Oxford Street. Marble Arch Tube station is a one-minute walk away, while Bond Street Tube station is about 10 minutes’ walk.

How much do tickets cost?

Prices vary depending on the date and time of your visit. Tickets start at £25.00 per adult and £15.00 per child. Children under five years old can visit for free.
